Free SEO tool

Mobile-friendly checker

Check the mobile basics Google looks at first, from the viewport tag to page weight.

Free, no sign-up. Clarnic reads the page the way a search engine does.

Why mobile matters

Google ranks pages based on their mobile version (mobile-first indexing). A page that's hard to use on a phone can rank lower, and visitors leave quickly.

What this checks

The viewport tag (so the page fits the screen and allows zoom), very small inline font sizes, images without width and height (which make the layout jump while loading), heavy HTML, HTTPS and home-screen icons.

It reads the HTML only, so it can't measure tap-target spacing or how the page looks after its CSS loads. Use it as a quick first check.

Questions

Google retired its Mobile-Friendly Test. What now?

Google now points to Lighthouse and Search Console. This tool covers the HTML basics in one click.

Should I block zooming?

No. maximum-scale=1 or user-scalable=no makes pages harder to read for many people.

Why do image sizes matter?

Without width and height, the page jumps as images load, which hurts the Cumulative Layout Shift score.
