Who we are
Clarnic ("we", "us") provides an SEO analysis app for online stores at clarnic.com. Contact: privacy@clarnic.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, store URL and a securely hashed password.
- Connected tool data: search, analytics and behavior data from the tools you connect (Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Bing Webmaster Tools, Microsoft Clarity, Shopify), using only the access you grant.
- Contact messages: what you send us through the contact form.
- Basic logs: request logs kept briefly for security and debugging. IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: showing you reports and recommendations about your own site, applying fixes you approve, and emailing you about your account. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
Google user data
Clarnic's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request read-only access to Search Console and Analytics and use it only to generate your reports.
Storage and security
Data is stored with Cloudflare and encrypted in transit and at rest. Connection keys and access tokens are additionally encrypted before storage. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Retention and deletion
Disconnecting a tool deletes its stored data within 30 days. Deleting your account deletes your data within 30 days. If you installed through Shopify, we delete your shop's data within 48 hours of Shopify's redaction request.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time by emailing privacy@clarnic.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, email account holders.
This policy is a starting point and should be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
