Why duplicates are a problem
When several pages have the same title or description, Google has a harder time telling which one to show, and searchers can't tell them apart in results. It often happens with templates, product variants and pagination.
How to fix them
Give every page a title that names what's unique about it, like the product, the city or the topic. If two pages really are the same, keep one and redirect or canonicalize the other.
